I’m a professional historian with over fifteen years’ experience working in higher education in the UK. My research work focuses on women’s employment, particularly white-collar and public sector work, and on feminist campaigning on workplace issues. You can find a list of my publications here.

I offer services as an expert researcher and adviser, both in specialist historical archives and on historical topics more broadly, as well as in writing, copyediting and indexing, book reviewing and public lecturing.
